Stockholm-based band Agitator has quickly become one of Sweden’s most exciting indie acts since forming in 2021. The five-piece—Felix Lindström, Vilgot Andersson, Tage Ruin, Jacob Setterberg, and Stig Wrethed—blends krautrock, post-punk, synth-pop, and techno into a unique sound that’s both emotionally raw and sonically adventurous. Their debut album, Jag trivs bäst där du är (2024), was celebrated for its unfiltered energy and genre-defying style.
Just nine months later, they released Vänner för evigt, a darker, more introspective follow-up that explores themes of love and vulnerability with cinematic flair. Singles like “Stränder” and “Vem är du om du inte är min?” showcase their ability to craft songs that are both haunting and euphoric.
